What do Rožnik Hill, Vrhnika and Sveta Trojica Hill have in common?
On 18 May, we will visit all three as part of the Cankar’s Hike.
Cankar himself will join the 25-kilometre hike and bring along his unique stories, while the experienced guides from the Vrhnika Mountaineering Association will treat you to the best Vrhnika delicacies.

The trail is of moderate difficulty and it includes ascents and descents. - What kind of footwear should I wear?
We advise hiking shoes that help guarantee safety.
You will do a great deal of walking, as the trail from the capital city to the birth city of Ivan Cankar covers 25 kilometres. But it won’t be that hard. To keep you company will be Ivan Cankar himself and other guides from Vrhnika who will entertain you with anecdotes from Cankar’s life. Of course, there will also be gastronomic points along the trail with good foods and drinks from Vrhnika.
